Welcome to the Crescent City Radio Control Club’s NEW FIELD

One of the oldest established RC clubs in the greater New Orleans area, the Crescent City Radio Control Club, has moved to a new field. It is now located in the middle of a hay field, not sugar cane!  The easiest way to get there is to follow 3127 all the way past the West St. John High School to Hwy 640.  Turn onto Hwy 640 and follow it all the way to Hwy 18, River Road).  Turn left on River Road and in about 2 miles look for CLUB GROCERY.  Immediately after passing club grocery look for the large white mailbox and turn into the driveway.  Don’t worry there is a flying field back there.  Please keep your speed at or below 5mph.  When you reach the opening at the end of the driveway follow the flattened down grass road to the first gate.  Once through the gate follow the path left to the next gate.  After going through that gate turn right and follow the path back until you see the flying field on your right, (4th field back).

The field runs north and south and is 400’ long by 50’ wide with plenty of open space for flying.  We invite (and welcome) all AMA Pilots to come out to the field and check it out.  We are always seeking “new member” pilots and potential pilots to join in the fun and exhilaration of the model aviation experience.

For more information, please contact one of our officers, or you can email us at info@ccrcc.com

We look forward to seeing you at the field!
